Tekashi 6ix9ine pleads guilty to 9 charges
Controversial rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine whose real name is Daniel Hernandez has pleaded guilty to 9 charges in a federal case. Tekashi was arrested on 18 November 2018 together with his ex-manager Shottie, real name Kifano Jordan, and their associates Faheem Walter (aka Crippy), Jensel Butler (aka Ish), Jamel Jones (aka Mel Murda), and Fuguan Lovick (aka Fu Banga).Tekashi who is facing a mandatory sentence of 47 years in prison entered his guilty plea on 23 January 2019 according to court documents seen by Pitchfork. The counts include racketeering conspiracy, multiple firearms offenses, narcotics trafficking, and more.
Tekashi who pleaded not guilty on 28 November 2018 is scheduled to be sentenced on 24 January 2020. According to Page Six Tekashi also admitted during his court appearance to have paid someone to shoot at a location in Manhattan, which happened to be where Cheef Keef was shot at.
